Honour Board

The Beat the Heat Honour Roll was launched in 2009 as part of Beat the Heat's strategy to recognise and celebrate the achievements

of team members past and present.

Nominations for the Beat the Heat Honour Roll are voted on by the Beat the Heat Committee at the first meeting of the new racing year.

The community, supporters and financial members are invited to nominate team members. The Beat the Heat Committee will announce

worthy recipients' (if any) at the first available opportunity prior to the commencement of the new racing season.

The members inducted into the Beat the Heat Honour Roll have used their skills, knowledge, commitment and passion to better their

communities and have made a lasting contribution to Beat the Heat NT Inc. They have excelled in their chosen fields and are a testament

to the depth of talent of the members involved with Beat the Heat.

2008	Mark Jeffs	Mark was the inaugural founder of Beat the Heat NT Inc & worked tirelessly for the cause. Mark retired from the NT Police 20/03/2009.
2008	John Sorensen†	John was the developing engineer for The Heat.
2009	David Pearson	David has been a long term member of Rotary & became involved with Beat the Heat NT Inc in 2004. David's business acumen allowed Beat the Heat NT Inc to become a not for profit organisation in 2006.
